RAP for Students in the second phase of their Studies

During the three-month-long internship, you will get the chance to study a particular role in depth. You will work on it with one or more coaches from the Nationale Reisopera. You will attend all rehearsals and performances that tour throughout The Netherlands. If you can prove your ability, you might be given a small role in the production or cover one of the principals. During your internship you will gain experience of many and varied aspects of the opera business through workshops and study days. These will not be restricted to your own field of study, but will range across different disciplines in music theatre. The internship period ends with a showcase to which members of the public will be invited.

RAP for post-graduate designers, directors, répétiteurs and conductors

You will spend three months working closely on an opera production with the director, conductor, assistant conductor, chorus master, répétiteur and other members of the artistic team. You will be coached by an expert in your particular area of study, and get support from professionals in other aspects of opera. You will attend most rehearsals and performances. The internship period for designers ends with the presentation of a showcase.
