After a number of requests, the Nationale Reisopera once more presents the nationally- and internationally-acclaimed production by director Monique Wagemakers and her team. Not for nothing is La Traviata one of the best-loved operas of Verdi and perhaps of the whole opera repertoire. It is the tragic history of the courtesan Violetta Valéry, who knows that she has little time to live. She hopes that the relationship she begins with Alfredo Germont will make her happy one more time, but bourgeois morality frustrates her plans.
